How each one gets knowledge in

This is the decision that matters most, and it is easy to miss in a feature list.

Guru starts from authored content. Subject experts write Cards, assign owners and set verification intervals, and Guru's Knowledge Agents also draw on connected sources such as Google Drive, Confluence, Salesforce and SharePoint. In 2026 Guru added AI help for upkeep: it finds conflicting versions, merges duplicates, flags stale content and drafts updates for experts to approve, according to its product site and verification docs. The quality of answers depends on the quality and coverage of what people have written and connected.

Sentra starts from the work. It connects to the tools where decisions actually happen, including Slack, email, calendars and meetings, and turns what it reads into facts, each with a source, an owner and a time range. Nobody writes a card. When a price, an owner or a plan changes in a Slack thread or on a call, the old fact is marked as superseded rather than overwritten, so the current answer is served and the history is kept.
